Congratulations - Academic Olympic Teams

Congratulations to our St. Anthony School Academic Olympic teams who recently participated in a deanery wide competition at Providence High School.  Our teams were so excited for the competition and tankful to PHS for hosting this wonderful event.  Academic Olympics is a quick recall competition.  Teams practice for several months leading up to the competition. 

Our 8th grade team, consisting of Lucia Bartley, Conner Caffee, Hannah Cano, Bryce Lopez, Emily Mendez, and Emily Zaragoza went up against some fierce competition and missed making it to the championship round.  Our 7th grade team consisting of Luke Bettler, Miles Conner, Jacob Dunbar, Layla Lynch, and Ayushi Patel had a great competition.  They went to the Championship Round and brought back a win for the 2^nd year in a row.  The 6th grade team members were Jimena Carrillo, Mason Dueffert-Catt, Brendan Ellis, Madison Ellorimo, Adam Merica, and Elaina Staniforth.  This was their first year competing and they did an excellent job.  They will come back even stronger next year.  A huge shout out to our coaches for dedicating their time to help our teams.  Thanks to Sarah Dunbar, Olivia Lynch, Jennifer Kelly, and Jerome Lopez.
