Scrip

Thanks to everyone who purchased PTO SCRIP certificates last year. The SCRIP program will be continued during the 2011-2012 school year. Projected sales dates are listed below.

            Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When school families and parishioners buy scrip, they are purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. They can be used to purchase everyday expenditures like food, clothing, gifts, and other essentials. Every scrip purchase earns revenue for the school.

            The program is very easy to use. Once a month, order forms will be in the bulletins and people choose the gift certificates they want to buy. The form and payment will be returned to school or placed in the collection basket by the due date. The following week, scrip certificates will be available for pick-up in the school office. The school earns from two to fifteen percent of the face value of the scrip.

January 21-22

Scrip certificate orders are due Friday, February 3rd. Please place your completed order form and a check made out to St. Anthony PTO in an envelope labeled SCRIP and return it to the school office.
